ANIMATION OF A SNAKE |
Open the blender, make your own snake. |

Add a nurbes curve, subdivide it some times. Curve options: 3D, endpointU, endpointV. |

Make hooks for a head and a neck. | |
Make hooks for the other points. | |
Subdivide more and add more hooks(first subdivide, than add hooks for entire body) where the neck is. Parent hooks to each other(see my example). | |
Add a curve modifier for a snake, and type the name of a curve in "Ob" field. Congratulations, you have a rigged snake! | |
Select hooks one after another, and move them to the right. | |
Select another hooks one after another, and move them to the left. | |
It looks no good. Make some changes for a natural looking. | |
