ANIMATION OF A SNAKE


Open the blender, make your own snake.

Add a nurbes curve, subdivide it some times. Curve options: 3D, endpointU, endpointV.

Make hooks for a head and a neck.

Make hooks for the other points.

Subdivide more and add more hooks(first subdivide, than add hooks for entire body) where the neck is. Parent hooks to each other(see my example).

Add a curve modifier for a snake, and type the name of a curve in "Ob" field. Congratulations, you have a rigged snake!

Select hooks one after another, and move them to the right.

Select another hooks one after another, and move them to the left.

It looks no good. Make some changes for a natural looking.
